The sudden economic disruption caused by the Corona pandemic (Covid-19) greatly affected many sectors, including the field of travel and tourism industry globally and locally, which is an indicator of the losses that hit the economic sectors, the cause of fears of transmission of infection through border ports (land, air and sea), as the closure of countries to their borders had a significant impact on this sector, and in response, for example, tourism companies suspended their trips, and laid off employees, which reflected negatively on the sectors Other economic such as the travel and tourism sector and the exchange of goods and services... etc., but there are experiences of Arab tourist countries interested in managing the repercussions of the crisis and developing policies to ensure the recovery of their economy quickly and thoughtfully, as for the case of Iraq, it appears in the main research problem, which is determined by the negligence of the authorities concerned with Iraqi tourism in managing the pandemic crisis and its negative repercussions on the Iraqi tourism sector and its effects Direct economic on the Iraqi economy due to the weak efficiency of the tourism administration in developing quick and appropriate solutions and procedures to mitigate the negative effects of the crisis on society and the Iraqi economy in general and on the indicators of the tourism economy in particular.
